Why Your Support Matters
Donations are essential to Huckleberry House because they provide the financial foundation to sustain and grow its programs. As a nonprofit organization, Huckleberry House depends on community support to fulfill its mission of helping youth and families in crisis. Here’s why donations matter:
Funding Critical Services: Donations directly support the shelter, housing, outreach, and counseling programs that help youth overcome crises and build better futures.
Filling Gaps: While grants and government funding may cover some operational costs, donations ensure that the organization can address unexpected needs and continue programs without interruption.
Enhancing Programs: Contributions enable Huckleberry House to expand and innovate, offering more comprehensive services tailored to the evolving needs of at-risk youth.
Community Investment: Donors become part of the solution, directly contributing to a safer and more supportive environment for young people in Columbus.
Empowering Youth: Every donation helps young people access housing, education, job training, and mental health support, empowering them to break cycles of poverty and instability.

Donate Goods & Supplies
Donations can be accepted at the Huckleberry House Carriage House (1421 Hamlet St.) Monday through Friday, between 9:30am-4pm. Before heading our way, please keep in mind:
- Please DO NOT drop items off at the Crisis Shelter at any time to allow our staff to focus on caring for the teens in the program.
- Also note that we cannot accept used clothing, shoes, or bedding of any kind.
- If you would like to set up a drop-off time outside of the above, please call us at 614.298.4139.
If you would like to donate our most-needed items, please check out our Amazon Wish List. Donations will be delivered directly to Huckleberry House. If you would like a receipt for your donation, please include your name and address.
However you choose to donate, we thank you and appreciate your support.
