Shining Light and Love on Huckleberry House: A Story of Community Generosity

Do you know that person who, no matter what is happening, can brighten your day with a simple phone call or email? That’s how we feel about Nancy Munhall and the Assistance League of Metro Columbus!

Assistance League is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults through community programs. For nearly a decade the local chapter has been a steadfast supporter of Huckleberry House! With over $26,000 in documented contributions consisting of move-in kits, comforters, sweatpants, and everything else in between, The Assistance League is committed to ensuring essential needs are met in our community. Nancy states, “The Assistance League of Metro Columbus is devoted to supporting the young adults at Huckleberry House.”

It’s a good day when Nancy calls to say, “I have a donation that I’m bringing down this afternoon.” Pictured to the left is Nancy with just a fraction of what her visits look like. Thank you for shining light and love on Huckleberry House!
