Huckleberry House is building a community.

Kenmore Square is a 56-unit apartment community in the Linden neighborhood of Columbus. Huckleberry House is purchasing Kenmore Square and will use it to house a portion of its Transitional Living Program (founded 1990). Surplus units will be master leased to organizations that offer housing programs to 17 to 24 year olds.

The first residents will move in mid-March. Before they move in, we need some quick help gathering items for their new homes. We are asking for household basics and items that cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits, including food storage bags and feminine hygiene products.

We have created a Sign-Up Genius so our community can sign up to make these special donations. Click here to get to the Sign-Up page.

We have one week to collect these items. Two options for drop off of items:

  1. Friday, March 13, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at our administrative offices at 1421 Hamlet Street.
  2. Saturday, March 14, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1692 Kenmore Street.

Please contact our development manager Jonathan Ross at (614) 298-4105 or jross@huck-house.org for more information.
